Rainbow Health offers an injection drug outreach program, called MAINLINE, that reduces the risk of getting HIV. We provide access to unused syringes, education, and HIV prevention and care services. Our syringe exchange program is the largest in the state. Each month, we distribute and collect approximately 20,000 syringes.
Rainbow Health’s Advocacy Agenda is driven by our work for equitable health care access and outcomes for those who experience injustice at the intersection of health status and identity as a racial, sexual, or gender minority.
Rainbow Health’s Advocacy team provides legal advice, brief services, and direct representation for those facing healthcare discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Shift MN envisions LGBTQ+ communities where everyone has equitable access to resources that cultivate sustainable wellness practices. We advocate for healthier LGBTQ+ communities through outreach, education, social media, and policy.
Rainbow Health connects people living with HIV to helpful resources. These programs provide assistance for common concerns including transportation, emergency financial help, housing, and emotional support. Our programs serve as a gateway to appropriate longer-term supportive services and provide information and support for people living with HIV.
