Turning Point offers culturally-specific chemical health treatment for African Americans. The goal of the program is to help individuals move from chemical dependency to sobriety.
Services offered include a variety of housing options for those who complete the treatment program. Supportive housing units are available to men who have a history of chemical dependency and long-term health conditions such as HIV/AIDS. Some housing is Group Residential Housing. On-site classes help tenants with their health, financial, personal and relationship challenges.
Turning Point’s Culturally Specific Service Center also provides legal assistance, health insurance navigation, healthcare services, counseling, education resources, job skills training, and housing referrals.
