Statement on the Minneapolis Police Killing of George Floyd

Like many of you, I watched the video of the latest killing of a black man at the hands of Minneapolis police and I was horrified. Unacceptable violence by our police – right here in our community – violates our most basic human values. Police brutality needs to end – and end now!

We must all stand together and demand that justice prevail.
