Summary of Services Provided

YouthLink is a nonprofit that helps young people between the ages of 16 and 24 on their journeys from homeless to hopeful. We are located in downtown Minneapolis and serve youth across the Twin Cities. We welcome young people of all backgrounds, races, genders, and orientations.

Wherever you are in your journey, the staff at the YouthLink Drop-In Center can help you take the next step. Our Drop-In Center is a safe, non-judgmental place for youth, 16-24 years old, from all backgrounds, races, genders, and orientations.

YouthLink offers: meet your basic needs – hot meals, showers, hygiene supplies; complete your GED; find clothes in our clothing closet or do laundry; find employment; figure out your next steps with the help of Drop-In Center staff; get a photo ID; access a computer; work with Hennepin County on eligibility support services; use the food shelf; find shelter or look into housing options; visit the health clinic; talk to someone about any mental health needs.

YouthLink is also the host site for the Youth Opportunity Center – a collaboration of agencies providing services to young people in one location. Having a wide variety of service providers in one location helps break down the barriers young people may face in accessing these services and provides them with a wider range of opportunities and resources.
