Summary of Services Provided

We provide free civil legal services to people with low incomes in central Minnesota through offices in Minneapolis, St. Cloud, and Willmar. Our experienced lawyers offer a range of services including: educating clients about their rights, advocating on their behalf to government agencies, and representing clients in court on a variety of legal issues. Our services are individualized according to each person’s unique situation and need.

• 20 central Minnesota counties — for low-income individuals
• 26 Minnesota counties — for seniors 60+
• Statewide — for disability- and tax-related cases

• has a low income,
• is at least 60 years of age,
• has a disability

• Immigration and citizenship
• IRS tax issues

Exception: We do not offer legal help for criminal cases. If you are charged with a crime, you should ask for a public defender.
