Psychotherapist

Greetings! I am a 2021 graduate of the Clinical Social Work Program at Augsburg College. I hold my Graduate Social Work License (LGSW) with the state of Minnesota. Over the past decade, I have worked as a social worker in the Minnesota HIV/AIDS community through various support roles. Most of my tenure has been as an HIV/AIDS Medical Case Manager.

My practice focuses on developing relationships and creating a warm and welcoming space for all who are seeking support. My professional career has included working with people from various identities, cultures, and origins. I am sex and kink-positive, with a long history working within queer communities. Coming from an intersectional, client-centered approach, I enjoy working within a trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and attachment-based lens. My practice holds influence from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and elements of CBT and DBT practices. My therapeutic style includes an eclectic approach that works to adjust and evolve with your needs and focus. If you are unsure what the above approaches and therapeutic practices mean? Don’t worry, we can work together to identify and define what is needed for you and your wellness goals.

I am a cis-male, married/partnered, parent, and queer-identified provider who, outside of work, enjoys reading comic books, playing TTRPG (table-top role-playing games), winning and losing various board games, and biking around the metro area.
