Tammie Wittrock, LGSWPsychotherapist
My name is Tammie Wittrock and I am a Mental Health Clinician with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. I have a master’s degree in public health with a focus on health inequities in marginalized communities. This Fall I will complete my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work.
My professional interest includes advocacy to eliminate barriers in health policy that create and maintain unequal access to health care. I specialize in working with BIPOC folks in the LGBTQIA+ community, adults, teens, and families across all socio-economic backgrounds and am particularly interested in family of origin issues and historical trauma associated with racism, sexism, ageism, and discrimination.
My practice includes a focus on trauma and symptoms of post-traumatic experiences, spiritual healing, and attachment issues. Modalities including AEDP, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioral & Solution-Focused therapies, and mindfulness techniques.
I have a unique perspective on mental wellness as I have and continue to embark on my own journey of healing. I truly believe that all of us are born with everything we need to be the best “Us” we can be. My passion is to guide others to find their own path.
