Carden Olson
Behavioral Health InternHi there! My name is Carden (they/he), and I am a clinical Social Work intern here at Rainbow Health. I am in the process of obtaining my Master’s degree in Social Work from St. Catherine University and am so excited to start the journey of therapy with you.
I enjoy getting to know individuals for who they are because we all come from different ways of thinking and viewing the world. I believe that we each hold the capacity for change, and that we are the experts of our own lives–it’s only a matter of discovering what clicks in order to see change happen. I would describe my therapeutic style as warm and humorous, person-centered, attachment-focused, and strengths-based. Someone who would best fit my practice is open to collaboration and self-exploration, while motivated to create meaningful change.
I am passionate about working with teens and young adults of all sexual and gender identities, and especially those in the disability/chronic pain community. As a queer, trans and gender-diverse human with a physical disability, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate complex issues alone. I am also interested in working with individuals living with gender dysphoria, trauma, anxiety, and grief and loss.
Let’s work together to create a life worth living.
