On Friday June 25, 2010 the 3rd annual Fruit Bowl was held at Elsie’s Bowl in Northeast Minneapolis.  Attended by well over 200 the evening was a fabulous hit.  Individuals as young as toddlers all the way up to Margie’s age and beyond enjoyed an evening of fun, food and friendship.  Best of all, it was an evening focused on how to have a good time in a substance, alcohol and tobacco free environment.

One of the big announcements was that dr. Rhys Preston was going to give a 30% discount to the first 8 people who signed up for the 2010 Pounds-4-Pride challenge.  Pounds-4-Pride will be running from now until The Winter Walk ™ on January 29, 2011.  The Walk will be held at the Mall of America and will be the culminating ceremony to celebrate what he have collectively done to improve the health of out LGBTQ community.
